Getting closer to running for the first time
The nova is getting a closer to running. The turbo manifolds, downpipes, and dump tubes have been wrapped with a titanium-laced thermal insulation wrap, and the bulk of the serpentine belt system has been fabricated. It has a few idler pulleys from a junked suburban (rebuilt with parts from autozone). The alternator is mounted low on the passenger's side, which actually required the oil drain line to be re-oriented to clear, but its position will work out well. The stock power steering pump (original from this car) was mounted in the stock location on the driver's side, and will also act as a tensioner for the serpentine belt. It should be able to start up soon. So until then, here are some pictures.
